Start Dates: We are currently hiring for positions to start the first week of November.

At La Cantina Market Place, we’re on the lookout for passionate Cooks to bring their skills and creativity to our kitchen. This is your chance to play a key role in crafting delicious, high-quality tacos that keep our guests coming back.

Duties:

  • Prepare and execute menu items following approved recipes and brand standards, ensuring consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workstation while completing daily prep lists and assigned kitchen duties efficiently.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, labelling, dating, storage, and rotation.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, monitor cooking and refrigeration temperatures, and report any equipment issues promptly.
  • Support kitchen operations by assisting with inventory, receiving, and maintaining equipment and prep areas.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of kitchen experience.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • A valid work permit is required
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
