Mexican Fiesta – Cook/Driver

Mexican Fiesta is looking for a reliable and motivated Cook/Driver to join our team. This position combines kitchen preparation responsibilities with food and supply deliveries between locations.

Duties:

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes, specifications, and daily kitchen needs.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, FIFO, labeling, and temperature control standards.
• Safely load, transport, and deliver food and supplies accurately and on schedule.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, safe, properly equipped, fueled, and maintained.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries, inventory, and kitchen supplies.
• Work effectively with kitchen and restaurant teams while maintaining professional communication and company standards.

Requirements:

• Valid BC driver’s license and driving experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in full-service restaurant operations, with Food-Safe certification highly desirable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• A valid work permit is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical duties as required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
